Firewall question

Hi all new here as just starting building my 71 up from pretty much a bare shell. I am obviously missing loads of bits so am midst a buying frenzy ! I just bought a fire wall from a 1970 van but there seems to be a slight difference at the top(nothing I couldn't modify). What I'd like to know is does the fire wall push up into the slot at the top and will the tank I get fit o.k with this fire wall and Are all tanks the same as I've been offered a 74 ? No all the tanks aren't the same.
I'm not sure of all the different nuances but the guys on here will know.
I've some pictures of a '72 tank n firewall belonging to a buddy of mine.
They're for sale along with few other bits from his '72, but he's not been well so it's difficult to pin him down at the moment.

Boris is a 71 Dormobile . I have just done my firewall and tank.

Nice one guys, thanks for the info and the pics are great as my bus needs major surgery on the panel that the tank and firewall sit on/ against. Does anyone know if this panel is available at all or repair sections ?
