Fitting Front Wheel Arches

another job on my list....

My Front N/S Wheel arch is pretty shot. However, only on the outer edge. Is it worth buying an outer skin (around £18) or am I going to wish I bought the whole shooting match (£65)

The Step isn't excellent, but I'm sure I could repair it

You can buy the whole outer skin, or just the dog leg, or the step as separate parts.

If the whole thing isnt rusted out then id suggest keeping as much of the original as possible and jsut buying the sections you need. Replacing the whole arch is awarkard as it can take a lot of 'fettling' to get it to fit, especially with repro arches. They can be a terrible fit as im sure your aware.

Be aware there are subtle differences between the years like 72's have a slightly different arch profile etc. (on the lip i think)
