Fixing RnR bed to bulkhead Q

For those that dont know im replacing my Early Westy interior with a later Berlin layout. The bed is still 3/4 but is shifted from right to left meaning the original captive nuts dont suit the new bed.

The pictures shows the brackets that are normally screwed home using M8 countersunk Hex head bolts. Now without dropping the engine and fuel tank i cant get to the rear of any bolts. The only thing I know of is self tappers, anyone got any suggestions?

Right ordered a tool and some rivnuts, If anyone needs a tool in the future, I will have a 'one carefull owner' for sale :lol:
