can you just swop your spindles over??for dropped look ie turn em up side down.

this probly a stupid ? but if you dow'nt ask you never no . :roll: is there much work involved

The track rod would foul the chassis if you did them like this. The only way to do them is either cut and weld a set or fit the ball joint from the underside.

There is a quite a bit of machining work in doing the flipped dropped spindles t2d and transporterhaus are making.

I don't think the ball joints would fall out if they have been fitted correctly. Especially if they are the original factory ones. 30+ years of rust and peening holds them in pretty tight. Sometimes 20+ tons will not shift them :roll:

It's not a good idea to use the old ball joints in this way though because the old joint will be worn to the way it has been fitted before, and new different wear will probably shorten the life + you really don't know how good the old ball joint is. For this reason we both supply new ball joints with the spindles.
