Breaker bars aren't designed for putting scaff tubes over the end - if you can't get it off using man strength, either get down the gym or buy a longer breaker that will be designed to take the torque!
My one is though!!! It came with instructions that said,,, insert five foot scaffold tube over here and keep levering until the breaker bends
You are absolutely right of course,, but we all resort to leverage to get the job done with what we have available, I bought a cheapo 3/4" socket set off the E Bay for about £25, and yes it is real cheap and the sockets are awful in that the sizes aren`t consistent and the finish isn`t brilliant, but the sheer size of them makes them do the job. I did laugh about getting down the gym though,, can you imagine joining a gym and you`re asked why you`ve joined,,, and you have to tell them you got an Early Bay and need a bit more muscle to work on it
Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, You could always use `Both Hands '
