When i did a top end rebuild i also changed the flywheel oil seal as it had a slight weep.
After fitting the new seal it runs out!
Yes, the seal is in square.
No, the flywheel mating surface is not excessively worn.
Yes, i used a good quality seal and o ring.
Just wondering if i'm getting too much oil for the seal to cope.
The end float is just in tolerance so i'm assuming the lift on No1 bearing is not excessive.
With the flywheel and seal removed, oil seams to be coming from the inner and outer of No1 bearing. Is this normal?
