No longer required since the sale of our bus. Was gonna hold onto them and maybe use on a future bus - but now seems silly to keep them "just in case".

Complete with cab-window glass and opening chrome quarterlights.

Will try and get some pictures sorted before the weekend (as they are currently in my dads garage).

£220

Cheers,

Mike

Hi,

I don't know exactly what year the doors are from, but I can tell you that they have the fresh air slots in the front inner skin of the door which I'm informed was introduced for the 72 model year (these would be covered by the interior door panel anyway).

I believe that the shape of all doors on the outside is the same on all German doors (with exception of 68 door handle fitment cut out) so they should fit all years.

I'll be collecting the doors tomorrow and will get some pictures up after - until then "all dibs" are reset :)

Thanks,

Mike

Hi,

I have the doors at home now and have taken some initial pictures:

http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w287/mcvwuk/doors/

Both doors are originally white - although one has been blown over with grey primer, and the other in a blue colour. Presumably for some light protection :?

The n/s door (grey one) has some slight pitting (as shown in the close-up picture of the door mirror fixing hole) but not serious at all. I think this could be sorted by flatting down and applying stopper - rather than skimming - but I'm not an panel-beater/sprayer so would be happy to be advised by those more in the know.

The o/s door (blue one) does have a couple of rust pin-holes, and one larger hole (less than 5mm) on it's lower-edge.

The doors can be collected from myself (this evening after 8pm), or over this coming weekend (I'm located approx 3 miles from Sandown Park).

£200ono...

Thank you,

Mike
