These mats have had little use and are probably about five or six years old-although I doubt the "technology" has changed significantly in that time! There are eight pieces-one for each window; and each mat has suckers to fix to the inside of your windows. They do make a difference to the warmth/coolness of your vehicle depending upon the season.
