Front beam

Please can anyone tell me if a 72 crossover front beam will fit onto my 70 earlybay ? Cheers rob

Yes it should theyre listed as 70-79

I’m pretty sure it can be done but the bolt patterns changed after 1970 I believe.
Wish I could remember for sure. Maybe when they introduced discs in 71.

Year before Oz, so 69 model year is split spacing and 70 model year is bay spacing. So I reckon unless you know the date your van was built, measure across the lower two bolt holes to be sure.

-Late beam is 206.4mm between the centres of those two holes.
-Early beam is 155.6mm between the centres of those two holes.
