I completely ballsed up my front panel repair. I was trying to keep most of the OG panel so I bought a good quality bulge repair section (forget where from but the green panels) problem is it ended at the bottom of the bulge when it has a bend and becomes the flat part of the panel, I should have known trying to join there would end in tears and it has, I have an uneven join and I doubt I'll ever get a nice crisp bend there again. I also replaced part of the edge of the front panel where an ariel has allowed water in and rotted out where it wraps around the A pillar, due to the difference in steel thickness this isn't a great join on the A post either.
I'm starting to think I should just replace the whole front panel and join it with my new lower front which is already fitted. I could go for a cut but I don't need all the stuff I have seen them come with, just the front panel from above the indicators. Any other ideas?
