Well i'm almost in a position to drop the front beam so i can fit some adjusters. The only things left to do is remove clutch cable, easy!,
but what is involved in removing the front gear linkage??, is it going to be one of those jobs that you think will take 5 mins and ends up taking 5 hours??. Advise much appreciated  .

Popped out, whipped the stick out, cut the wire, undid the bolt and slid the rod out no probs :D . My front beam is now in bits and i am in the process of drilling out the crimps which hold the torsion bar stay bracket in place. The weather sucked today tho and decided i wouldn't know if i hit my thumb with the hammer because they were so numb  , so have knocked it on the head until next weekend

Sounds like you are well on the way to the lowrider look 8)
Get some pics on once it warms up............
