So I have 71 that had too much play on front bearing, took it apart to find no thrust washer fitted behind locknut.
Picked up new washer and found it was way to small to fit over spindle, grabbed OG one from my Beetle spares and found it to be the same size.
Packet new washer was in said T1 46 - 65 T2 67 - 79
After some research found out I have late Bay front brakes fitted.
Have contacted a few suppliers all say thrust washer is same from TI Through to T 25

Why do I have bigger diameter spindles?
Or are the suppliers wrong.

Should be the same size, 38mm o/d 20mm i/d measure the washer.

Solved, the two main UK suppliers are selling incorrectly labelled thrust washers.
T1 = 16mm inside diameter T2 = 18mm.
CandC sorted me with correct washers.
