Isn't that the whole point of dropped spindles though?
In essence you're moving the centre point of the wheel, not the angle of the trailing arms... so the coil rate of the leaves stays the same...
Not saying that you won't need uprated shocks, just saying that mechanically nothing has changed, so things shouldn't need to be uprated!!
