Hello,

I'm still gathering parts for my resto and have been looking for a while for repair panels for the front wheel housing. See the mess that mine are in below for reference:

Do you think I should

a) patch these up again or

b) buy these panels that I found in stock at a German place and if so, has anyone got any experience fiddling these panels to fit, what is needed etc?

Cheers!

Agree with Karlos I have been repaired mine in the past, seat belt mounts & various holes with small rusty 10p size holes turning into a 2 or 3 inch square repair panels welding these in two find more of the remaining metal rather thin & blowing through , I think there is going to be a lot of work for you to do might be worth getting a flap disc out first remove all the surface rust to see what you really have got remaining mind those wheel arches & lower door step as well.

Either way its going to take a lot of time & effort good luck.

Put a full panel back in

Don’t waste your time patching will cost more !!

Had mine cut out put in rail back on all in adays work but we’ll worth it 👍🏻
