Needed a good quality rebuilt engine for my everyday driver, a 1993 VW Jetta. And I needed it fast! Called the toll-free number at GEX and they had exactly what I needed, and at the right price. Check out their website at http://www.gex.com

Is advertising that website the only reason you are on here? :)

Welcome to earlybay by the way..

Hey look, some earlies (spot the late westy posing as an early...) from Bristol Volksfest 2006 (to keep it on topic  )

Surely a company like these dont need to resort to stupid advertising stunts....

Word of mouth works for me

and the word at the minute is too rude to print

not keen on the frids myself, one hell of an ugly creation, but each to there own,and if i had a jetta with a shafted engine id scrap it

I WILL own a frid one day! i love em they are what got me into the VW scene as a nipper 8)

Before they were even popular, I love em almost as much as the T2.....

Relatively cheap when you realise just how rare they are....

Think I'll wait till you can get parts off the shelf before I consider a Frid.
(Ok I'll be waiting a long time then!)

I nearly bought one that had been converted 2 RHD from the states a while back  wish i blinking had now it was only £5000 with all original bits and a fresh resto on it. (lowered narrowed and rude wheels!)

One day I will just think sod it, and go and buy one!

My last two were but this one was well thought out planned and costed then suddenly on a whim the paint shop was introduced and it all went wrong......

Nicely highjacked Tofufi!!

Personally, I'd have the Frid...

;)

;)

That Frid still makes me feel guilty, I chipped the paint when the drivers door of my bug blew into it. Paid for the repair, but I still feel guilty as hell.

Frids are cool as **** though :D
(Should we be talking about frids instead of the earlies? ;) )
