So I was trying to fix the wiring hell that the PO did and this little guy showed up

I wish he would've helped and I went nowhere, I hate clustered wires.

Some pictures of my little leak

And this happens when you drive 300 miles non stop with your pedal to the floor. I stopped because I ran out of gas because of a vacuum leak you didn't take care of

I don't know how the hell my whole engine got a film of oil. Someone at the show said that if my pushrod tubes were leaking that the access oil could have been caught by the fan and spun up.

Last but not least I would like to congratulate Gwen on her first sticky note. Gotta pick up those bitches :cooter:

Yeah I'm leaning towards that. The great wave theme would seem more suitable for a 23 window deluxe which I don't have

You are seriously brave dude. And that is a lot of oil over your engine bay cos that can't smell good in the cab. Keep on truckin' buddy and we want more photos of this new vehicle.

As requested

and some photos. I only cleaned the calipers I will be putting on yesterday and took the old ones off.

Is this normal?

Master cylinder, I think I should replace it. Can you rebuild them?

Update on what I've done so far. Replaced the wheel cylinder (beware Brazilian parts suck, had to experience it to believe it).
Installed the first one and then realized I left the e-brake bar out  So that was a pain in the ass.

BrakeJobDay22.jpg

Then did the rear driver's side and wasn't building pressure...had a hole in the brake line  Luckily I had brand new lines and installed it.

Video of my horrible intake leak

[photobucket]http://s31.photobucket.com/albums/c380/Pimpio69/Penelope/BrakeJobDay22-1.mp4[/photobucket]

When accelerating from a stand-still (1st gear 4 speed) I get this horrible rattle/shack as if I'm running over a shit load of rocks and can't catch traction. Appears to be coming from the passenger rear (or rear in general, not sure though).

AFTER I get it going it shifts through all the gears perfectly, no grinding, scratching or any funny noises.

Some more pictures of the underside

Finally took it for its first ride today. Just need to fine tune the timing as I did it by ear  and sync the carbs. She has so much more power than the 2L in my last bay. Already started taking out the Campmobile interior from the red bus to swap in here. Will take a vid and upload with pics soon.

Gave her first car wash today! I believe its OG paint so I plan on keeping it and clear coating over it to protect it. Here are some pictures before, during and after.
