Phoned auto glass today for a new windscreen. After the young girl took an age finding the right windscreen, she proceeded to ask me whether it had a heating element?, built in aerial?, and the best one of all.......did it have a sensor built in for rain sensing wipers!! Think I better ring back tomorrow to check I ain't getting t4 or t5 glass sent out with the engineer.

Actually...there are heated windshields available for our vans. The other two options would be nice as well.

Yes I have heard there are. There were others as well. Oh, 1 hour to do the job and an hour for the glue to dry!

Didn't have the heart to tell her I haven't even got an electric screen wash.

Didn't bother me, her lack of knowledge, just brought a smile to my face on an otherwise miserable day.

it will bother you when they send a dick that dosent know how to work a piece of string :shock:

the screens are listed under combi/clipper the old H T is 310.if they get it wrong tell em that :mrgreen:

I suggest you try Impact Windscreens at Tamworth, they will know what you are asking for, Chris (Strongy) put me onto them as a local independent fitter
