Hand brake cables

Been rebuilding my rear corners and I'm not sure whether to replace the brake cables or not. They seem OK, the spring that goes in the backing plate is a little rusted but still has plenty of Spring?

They a pain to replace?

If you have the rear drums stripped anyway they are easy to change .. just disconnect at front and pull through with a guide wire taped on .. disconnect at rear and put outer from pipe and and fit new ones..

If your doing everything else its peace of mind .. for the sake of 15 quid a side
