Hi - can anyone help me with how to attach headlamp grilles - I have the small shaped brackets - and with my previous (left hand drive) lamps i managed to squeeze the brackets BETWEEN the glass lamp and the chrome rim- However - this seemed to result in a cracked lamp.
Now I have fitted right hand drive lamps - and wonder how these brackets are supposed to be used. They see the wrong shape to go OVER the chrome rims.
Any ideas would be welcome.

I threw the brackets away and used 4x 1cm wide strips of coke can per headlight (inside out) that I trapped between the glass & frame - seems to work ok & look ok..

Nice one Loxy ! I'll mos def give it a try.

(D'you think it might work with strips of Diet coke can ? - could be thinner !)

I wish i'd thought of that, i got mine on by re-shaping the clips and doing alot of swearing

I couldn't get the clips to fit no matter how much bending, cutting & swearing I used, perhaps you can take a pic of how you got them fitted? in the end the can strips were the only thing thin enough to be able to fit between the glass, rubber seal & reflector & chrome ring that actually held the grille in for more than about 5 seconds, its a bit gash but I doubt anyone will ever notice ;)
