I've just had a failure on my headlight circuit. Driving along last night with dipped headlights when smoke and burning smell comes from the dash. Temporary loss of power then picked up again. Now don't have dipped or main Beam lights, sidelights are fine. Got the dash out and the wire from the switch to the relay has burnt out. Replaced the wire, fuses OK but still no lights. The terminal on the switch has melted but the relay looks fine, I reckon switch must've shorted? Any ideas, new switch?
