hi there, i'm having a few problems, i've just treated myself to some new wheels.
got them from machine7 there sprintstar (ssp)
the problem im having is with the wheel bolts, i'm preaty sure i've been sent the right bolts.
anyway i've just fitted all 4 wheels, started the van up, went to pull away & it was going no where.
making noise on back wheels, so i jacked back end up & the passenger wheel goes round fine with no problems. but its the drivers side back wheel thats the problem it was knocking from 1 bolt to the other plus the handbrake had gone real hard couldn't even pull it on & the bus wouldn't even roll when not in gear.
any ideas :(
really gutted as they look 8) on the van

Sounds like the bolts are too long, going through the drum too far and fouling the brakes.

but why is it just on one wheel? if the bolts were to long wouldn't it be on all 4 wheels.

Im not sure but cant think of any other explination... you could try loosening the bolts a few turns just to see if this frees them up

yep did that & it's just mm, think i'm gonna have to shave off the wheel bolts a tad :(
thanks bruce

if uve tried to drive it mate you mat want to take your drum off and check youve not damaged anything. my friend wiped out the springs that pull the shoes back in after braking so they now bind.
