Its a shame you're a bit too far for me to come over
Ive got a spare dizzy you could try.
Also you have you tried hot wiring the coil straight from the battery to see if that helps?
Sometimes the ignition switch can be worn and not supply a feed when cranking.

Got her going at 9:30 last night :lol: At bloody last!!!!!
I tried the Hot Wire thing and was still the same just turning over then my mate came round with his volt meter and we started testing everything starting from the batt!
Found out the brand new coil was a dud one so we replaced that and it still didn't start... so time to check everything again, couldn't see anything...... looked again and again and again saying it got to be something simple??!! :?
Hiding in the back was this silly little 44yr old wire with a dodgy brittle sleeve that has split (Couldn't see it until we started taking the wires out)........ Yep it was that little bastard earthing on the tin wear! :x

Job to do this winter..... new wiring loom!
