help wanted......ever done Bad Camberg?

Hello people,

I know some of you do the euro shows and just wondered has anyone done Bad Camberg before? If you have would it be OK if I PM'd you some questions about the show as the organisers are not answering my e-mails.

Any help with this would be very appreciated.

I think Steve 'egotrippin' on here has done Bad Camberg before but not sure, a few of us are planning to go next year and link it in with EBI4

yea we are doing the Ebi thing as well, but heading upto wolfsburg to do the factory during the week between the 2 shows. Should be a good crack me thinks.

Bondo - to be honest all I want to know is do you get to camp at the bad camberg show? Or do you have to camp at a site close and journey to and from the show.

Once I have a couple more answers I will post up when and where we are travelling and staying at so if anyone wants to join in on the journey they can ;o)

Here is the plan so far but with no deffo's on hotels and camp sites till I know if we can stay at Bad Camberg or not.

Wednesday we are staying at the holiday inn at the euro tunnel.
Thursday in a hotel near BBT as they have a bit of a party and BBq, and he opens his doors to his private collection.
Friday - cruise from BBT to Bad
Monday head upto Wolfsburg and a camp site till Thursday
Thursday hotel near Chimay
Friday Ebi
Monday come back home

So nearly 2 weeks of dubs, beer, autobahns and generaly just trying to make it without getting into too much trouble )

When we have confirmed the hotels and campsites I will post them up just incase anyone wants to join in

you can't camp at the show you can't even put your bus in unless you have a 1955 or earlyer.There is a campsite that is walking distance so its not to bad.

Tunnel Leaving the Thursday 23rd June at 07:50 and returning Monday 4th July at 20:20.

The return crossing time is down to you guys but we have done that time as it was all a bit to much of a rush the last time we did it. We also only live about and hour and a half away from the tunnel so it suits us.

It works out to about £400 on an estimate for the crossing and all the places to stay based on a camper and 2 people.

The only thing I can help out with is Ebi tickets at £30 each. If you want any info PM or mail me.

Out of interest then is the lahn camping the site by Bad Camberg??

Depends on what you mean by close. Its about 12 miles away but with using the internet this was the closest camp site we could find.

We also did it for another good reason. I am assuming there will be a few people that have not done bad before and have no idea what it is like. So with that in mind if people dont want to do Bad both days there is a swimming pool next to the camp site and Limburg seems like a nice place to visit. Just incase if you get what i mean
