Hiya! (No im not practicing karate :roll: )

Got me some slamwerks spring plates but before i have a go at putting them on thought i'd better check on here to see what exact tools i need and if anyone has posted up them doing their spring plates? If anyone can help then thankyou :D

Very good guide here;

http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=23032

Breaker bar
Very large screwdriver to lever off the spring plate
Various sockets
Good weather or a garage :mrgreen:

Put it this way the first time I changed my spring plates it took me 3 hours for 1 side, 1 hour for the second. Proper bricked it though when levering the first plate of the step ;)

Then I wasn't happy with it, my bus looked lop sided (1 spline too many) and it took me 30 minutes to change 1 side over.

And from my experience, be prepared to have to renew the brake pipes.

If you've got the original spring plates on there, you'll need to undo the brake pipes anyway, and you will therefore need to have stuff to bleed the brakes....
