All packed ready to go. 8) Early start, Brentwood to Gwithian, can't wait. Hopefully we'll make it in one piece! Any recommendations on places to stop and stretch your legs on the way down. We'll be heading along the A303.

Arh well if your going down the A303 your probably gonna be stopping a lot in traffic anyway!Probably walk faster than the queue!

Stonehenge is always good for a picture ( of the bus ) and stonehenge in the background obviously.
Have a good one

good luck with that, English Heritage have now closed that little loophole/ adjacent road and you can only get to it from the other side now. so if you want to see stonehenge you need to pay £8 per adult.

Whatever dude....

no justification at all to charge people £8 to walk 'near' it, and stop people even seeing it without paying that money. Sure they do a lot of good stuff for sites and buildings etc.. but what they are doing there is blatant extortion, and probaly funding the big new building that's going on down the road to stock and sell more tat.

Same as charging people to enter lands end and such.

sorry for the hijack. have a great holiday :)

Have you hit the West country yet?

Try the American Diner Route303 just past Ilminster on the A303. Has a Harley Davidson in the restaurant.

Have a happy trip, are you gonna be at the Cornwall Jamboree?
