Hook Up

i want to put a socket on the van for a hook up, i dont want it on the side of the van though,
has anyone got ideas / photos where they have put theirs,
i know a couple of guys have put them in the engine bay, and another in a recess infront of the rear wheel arch.
At the moment its on a long cable that i put through the window, and attach to a 4 socket extension, not ideal but it works,
Grateful for any input.

That's a great idea, I've been wondering where to put it for the last week or so and hadn't even thought of the engine bay. Can you close the lid with the cable running in?

I just use a portable one and run it through the front quarter light. Really easy and can then also move it into the awning when needed.
