Not used the van for 2 weeks, got in it today turned on the ignition and the horn started blaring. And no I wasn't leaning on the steering wheel :) ended up having to disconnect the horn. Any ideas. ?

Do you have one of Uber Cools pedal locks by any chance? I chased the same fault for a while until I realised that the pedal lock shorts out the circuit
Elliott.

Indeed I do. It was still attached when I turned the ignition on. Does that mean when the lock isn't on that the horn will not sound?

I think I`m right in saying the horn is earth switched. The live is then only supplied when the ignition is on. So if anyone tries to start your van with the lock on, then the horn will go off because the lock is acting as a switch by earthing the horn circuit as soon as you provide a supply by turning on the ignition. If you take your lock off first, you should be OK.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,, Maybe

is it the throttle kit you are referring to....?

My horn works perfect when I take the wire and put it to the center of the shaft, it even makes good sparks, but as soon as I connect it to the spade on the horn ring, it wont work??
