How big a hole for a westfalia roof

I have just bought a Westfalia roof, I understand that on the originals they used the body with a sun roof aperture. Can any body tell me how big a hole I can cut, and are the roofs reversible? Thanks chaps

hi i have a westy continental roof cut, its been cut either side of roof spars, ideal for converting yout tin top as it has the strengtheners you need and dimensions, collection only £50 located dagenham essex

Thanks for the offer, however I am in Johannesburg so collection would be a bit difficult
Anywho, I have found one and measured up, and also the dimensions are in the '69 westfalia handbook
