how do you call this?

hey
i'm Bart and i'm from Belgium so we don't speak English there, duh...
but my english isn't that bad, i understand it enough but some things / stuff i dont know how to call it.
now i'm looking to buy this:

i dont mean the sunscreen itself on the second picture but the fluffy board around it.
how do you call such a thing in english and most important... where can i buy it?

In English, we would call it a fringe. You may struggle to find a supplier there are certainly none in the UK we've so far found.

You could try a curtain shop - it's the sort of thing you used to see on old curtains and furnishings...

This fringe is not cheap as it made from cotton or cotton/silk, you can get similar in nylon but they have a shiney finish but are a lot cheaper
