Thumbing my way back
Right just testing your opinions here guys due to a few issues that have arisen.

How much would I ask for my van if I were to sell her?

At the moment it's currently engine less so a with and without price guideline please!

Thanks

And it will probably be a case of getting something cheaper I think (hope)???

ill give you one english pound!

its better to sell it up and running because as an engineless van its a
project rather than ready to go and its reflected in the price, normally your looking at a few grand less.
without seeing it in the flesh id say your looking at 4K engineless and 6K up n running but like i said thats without seeing it and going on current market value.
also being a panel van wont appeal to as many people as a camper would.

Dont sell it dude! its a sweet looking beast. save the cash and get that 1776 you want...or 2110 possibly

agree with sk^^^ would say that you could probably get a tad more for it with the engine in and the interior all tidy and in.

If you are selling it, then I am sure that you will get a nice price for it, its a well kept van and has the old WOW factor

Yeah deffinately engine fitted its a tidy looking van so going along with SK on this one.

Its a panel so youll immediately loose everyone that likes the views, then without the engine that will send a sizeable chunk looking elsewhere, your trying to attract a special breed out there (PVP)

Don't do it dude.

Sorry to hear if the sh!t's hit the fan. Like SK says, worse comes to worse, a good ready to go panel should push 6K.

you want something cheap??? Buy cheap and end up paying more out in the long run. You know your van inside out - if alls you need is a new engine then stick with your van..

Whenever I sell a car I always get it roadworthy and registered, it might cost you a few sheckles but you get at least 130% back in the sale price.

I can't find a pic of your van Scampi, can you put one up for me/us?

Sorry to hear you need to sell, hopefully things get sorted and you can come back to the scene.

Had a chat with a few people lat night anyway inclusing my mother who turned round and said to me she would rather sell the house before I sold my van

That really suprised me so things are looking good at the moment, just may have to keep it as ongoing for a few months at the moment project wise! :D

Ideally i'm after a real cheap turnkey at the moment if anyone knows of anyhing!

The new engine is going to be ongoing by the looks of it
