I've just fitted air front shocks and am trying to get them nice and upright as in inboard/outboard position .ive stuck a spirit level against the shock and I'm just a smidge off the bubble being central .like the bubble is about 1mm over the centre lines .is that ok or does it have to be dead centre?

On the front, they need to be vertical looking from the front of the bus, but from the side they can be angled. Sounds like you're just about there, you need to measure the difference on the center line of the shock from top to bottom. Ideally they need to be vertical as the top bolt and bottom pin are horizontal to each other.
