Forgive me for being stupid! But how do replace my front badge?
I can't seem to get to it from the inside, even after removing the kick panels.
Surely I don't have to remove all the front heater to get to it,or do I?
Thanks in advance for your advice!! :)

it should have 4 'threaded' inserts on its back that sit in plastic or rubber plugs in the front panel, and with a bit of persuasion should just pull out from the front, mine was helped along by a large amount of glue so i cant really telly you how good this method is for saving your paintwork, someone else is sure to be along soon with a foolproof solution.

Thanks! I don't wanna damage the paintwork though (If I can help it)

Job Done!!!!! :D :D
Used thin cord ,which I managed to poke down the back of the badge. Then made a loop and wriggled the cord, pulling outwards.
No damage to paint or old badge!! :D :D

Is it the same to remove the Volkswagen badge on the rear hatch?

I think you can get to back of the badge if you take the rear hatch door panel off. Then tap it from the back.. :)

Tried your string technique on my van but it wont budge. Can hear the panel creaking a bit too when I pull so a bit nervous about pulling too hard! How much effort was it to get off and what was it attached with on the other side?

Looks really nice with chrome badge by the way, good job!
