How to fit new inlet rubber Boots on 1641?

Hi, Do I need to take the inlet manifold off to fit new inlet boots as one is blowing back?

You can but its a pain in the hoop!!!!

you can get away with taking the left one off undoing the heat risers if you have them and moving the center part of the manifold to the left to give you access to the right one. there is sometimes a bolt securing the middle bit of the manifold to the case that will have to come off
