How to release aftermarket panel clips (pic)

Is anyone familiar with this type of panel fixing? I need to get to my door lock mechanism, and don't want to wreck them as I have no spares.

Looks like you need to unscrew the centre section with an Alan key, this then releases the pressure on the clip and allow it out. May need a little gentle persuasion but should pop out. Look on eBay for panel clips.
