Hub Cap Chroming

I have after market hub caps and am constantly having to polish out rust spots. Is it worth getting the aftermarket hub caps re chromed or will this cost more than the good ones available? (Just Campers quote £38 each) What have others done and is it worth it/ Thanks

I'm getting some of the current new genuine VW ones plated -will see how they go but the repro ones are rustomatic

Looked at these but they are the domed ones and mine is a '71 needing the flat hub caps but thanks anyway.
