Buying one for my boy. I got hold of a Specialized (2nd hand of course) mountain bike for him earlier in the year and he now wants a BMX, as well as the MB :roll:

I had a Huffy 'One Ton', really nice quality & component spec, sold it when I realised I was nearly 30 :D

Now I'm 36 & seem to collect bikes, I'm happy with my 'SE's' :D

I'm thinking of resale value you see, let me son have the bikes for a while then when he gets fedup ebay them or something.

Yeah, something wrong about Adults on BMX's though :lol:

Some of us really old boys still do 20" - but admittedly my freestyle skills aren't what they were in 84 (when I was 14 :lol: )

Before the Ripper, I had a Huffy Pro 4 like this -



It was a pretty solid bike - eventually I cracked the frame on the seat post obove where the top tube meets it

Sorry I don't know anything about mid / new school Huffys but they have been going a bloody long time and have a good heritage.
