Does anyone happen to know the whereabouts of my little gadget / tool for removing the steering box arm. I lent it to an Early Bayer by the name of Dude, who used it and thanked me very much and was going to pass it on to someone else who wanted to borrow it. Did he indeed pass it on or does he still have it ? Any one got any ideas where it might be :?: :?: :?:

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Answers on here or a P.M. or a postcard

little scaffold tube type thingy with a nut on......

it's not lost, but i deleted all my messages with who to return it to. if you pm your address i'll post it back pronto.

i still can't get my drop arm off it appears to be tighter than a nuns... need to probably cut it off so i can get box off to refurb it and paint chassis area properly.

That little thingy will get it off for you, I promise. Put it on do it up and give the joint a wack (not the tool) do it another quarter of a turn and wack, etc etc etc, when you wack the joint, you may have to use a lump hammer and an old bar or even an old chisel. Try it again and see if you can get it off, even if you tighten it up again after, just so it`s been loosened. I`ll P.M. my address too, but try it again bud.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,,,,, And thanks for getting back to me
