idea for freshening up sun visors

I think this thread has changed tak a bit... The sun visors are not dirty - they are nice and clean, however the UV/sun has broken down the plastic so it no longer is the same colour. I think the only way to rectify it is to rubber paint them or replace with new repo.

The scouring powder (Ajax) worked a treat with the general grime.

OK chaps, I went for the above product in the link 'leather/vinyl Magix spray' and here are the results.

Obviously time will tell if the finish lasts,but, lets face it sun visors don't hammered so can't see a problem (well not in this country :lol: ). Its a way to keep your OG VW sun visors for a lot cheaper than repo versions .........

I may still give them another coat but there is not much left in the little can now,probably just about get one coat on one side each now.
