My ignition switch on my bay is faulty, so I bought a replacement one at Volksworld Saturday.
Its a standard 4 wire one, it fits a treat in the hole but its not correct....
I have the new and old one side by side, the part that turns on the old one (using a screw driver) starts from the 12oclock position of a clock and turns fully to the 4oclock position. The new one starts at the 12oclock position and turns fully to the 8oclock position.
The key in the barrel only turns the amount needed of the old one, not the amount needed for the new one. I hope it all makes sense...
Anyone else had this problem? or know which ignition switch I need????
