Hi,

Finally going to get round to making some modifications to the bus and first thing on my list is insulation!

I mainly want to cut down road noise and helping keep heat in will be good!

Can anyone show me examples of what they used and where?

Cheers

D

just done this myself over the weekend used Celotex a lightweight insulation board. is made of compressed foam so doesnt hold moisture. cost £15 for a sheet. only used just over half and is very very light. can post pics if required

pics would be good dude cheers :D

I used that sheepswool for insulation - it does not hold moisture and is 100% natural - camper smells like a farm for a bit but I have noticed the difference. Bought it on eBay

i just done it recently and i used lead flashing tape from toolstation which is self adhesive and is great for sound deadening and panel vibration and is was cheaper than that dynamat stuff and also over that i put the thermawrap which is silver bubblewrap of sorts :)

I'm sure there have been some other threads about it as well?

Did you put anything on the cargo floor? also ontop of the engine bay or inside the engine bay to reduce noise?
