Hi all , I`m interested to know what insurance companies you use if your bus is slammed low ( I`m talking tubs , front and rear chassis notches , engine and gearbox raise etc.) Did you tell them about everything that has been done ?

:( Hmmm , this is a bit of a worry ... I wasn`t expecting anyone to say that they hadn`t declared their modifications to their insurance company . It would be nice if someone said " Yeah , I`m insured with ( insert company here ) and they are absolutely fine with chassis mods etc." though .
Any recommendations ?

I'm insured with Peter Best.
I don't have any chassis notches but I am tubbed.

From memory when they asked about modifications it went a little something like...

Q: "Any vehicle modifications from manufacturers standard?"
A: "Yes. Lowered suspension".

Q: "Lowered less than X inches from standard?"
A: "Nope, more than that!"

*click, click, tap, click*

Q: "Your insurance premium is £Y, would you like to proceed"
A: "Yessir!"

I've listed all my mod's, notches and everthing else nothing was said think i've gone through just kampers again this year.

Insured with RH. Called them after lowering to inform them of the mods and it made no difference to my premium.
