Can't wait.

It will be an american import so after recommondation's for insurance companies... Footman won't insurance imports.

Haven't looked to deeply yet but guessed you lot would come up trumps :D

i dont no if they insure imports, but adrian flux has always been great with my bus, nice and cheap as well :)

:D

I concur with vwaddict - a guy in our club imports and usually has several vehicles on the go at any one time, all insured thro' FJ - I'm insured thr'HIC, it was cheapest quote at the time

Confused looked at there home page and it says

"Is not a grey or parallel import including US imports."

have only done the website will ring them tommorow strange though, as i guess there must be loads of imports about.

Guess microbus could be classed as a mini bus, different licence for some nuber of seats i think (15+ )

Got mt bay insured through Sureterm, fully comp on limited miles for £170 with £100 excess and agreed valuation

Hi Phil,

welcome to EB :D

You could try AON Classis Car insurance. They are very competitive and have good cover but.. the best thing about them is that even if you specify a limited milage the certificate still comes stating unlimited mileage.

If you phone them ask for 1500 miles and on the policy it will state unlimited. this is the same on all their policys, shhhhhhhh
I have my 66 beetle and 71 van for £140 yearly including RAC membership.

Like Johnny I'll give AON a thumbs up. I have the bus plus my old Saab turbo insured through them. £110 for the bus with unlimited mileage and two named drivers only (me and missus).

Hi

I'm insured with footman james and they have been great. And mine from Cali for nia. They did only give me 28 days to UK register it, it took me 48 and they were still cool.

:D

Hello mate 8) im with HIC they were the cheapest with the best package for me
