Hi chaps!
I've reached a point in my resto where I'm thinking about things like throttle linkage, cables etc. Problem is, all my previous conduit was completely ballsed! And now I've got to put it all back in.

So, some questions.

1- What's the distance between the two holes in the chassis crossmember behind the handbrake, that the two handbrake wires go through immediately after leaving the lever? I assume there's no compensator on an early.

2- Which way around does the throttle link rod that goes through the chassis go? Are the two arms on that lever parallel, or is there a rotational difference between the two? (if you look down the rod, do you see two arms or one?)

3- Where does the throttle cable tube come up to?

4- In fact, would anyone mind taking some pictures!? There doesn't seem to be a huge amount of information available about that area.

Thanks guys

Simon

Hey, thanks bud!
First two pictures, That's the handbrake cables moving through the first proper submember, yes? behind the front seats? I don't suppose you have access to the small member under the gear lever do you? I only have one hole in mine, need two :)

Forth pic, is that the throttle cable coming out behind the tie bar? So, about a foot behind the shock absorber?

Thanks again mate, very handy :)

are these any good ?

conduit starts just above the rusty steering bar (acc cable is the dull cable "below" the brighter handbrake cable)

hopefully this helps, holes about size of 2p coin
