Had my bay for a few months now and have been to a few shows and met up with a fine bunch of fellow dubbers and I am being told once you have one ie the bus... you have to have the other! ie a beetle IT's THE LAW!

So whats say you? do you have both or is one enough fun/trouble :lol:

came fairly close to owning both last week by the way :shock:

I wish! blew all my hard earned on the bus the beetle would be a project me thinks...saying that the bus has rapidly turned into a project too!

I think i will get one but only once the bus is how i want it :wink:

yep its the law, i allways have a project on the go,4 vws at present 3 on the road and 1 project,it keeps me out of the missuses hair

all my cars are Vag though, my daily is a TT, my 10 month old daughter even has an electric beetle, she cant touch the pedals yet though lol

Yep it's the law to have several VW's! I've got my '68 Bay that I'm rebuilding and the wife has a '67 Bug that I've just restored. We've also got a couple of Mk1 GTI's and a T25 which I'm selling if you know anyone after one :wink:

I'd say at least one is the best option - then you're guaranteed that one will work! I have a '67 bug, a '64 1500s Notch and a '71 bay (almost) - must be mad! Might be selling the bug soon though cos we don't have room for them all

That's my bug and bus ^^ both have more than 6 months MOT in the pic -despite the bug being a pile of bits :lol:

Due to the shape of my drive I don't get many pics of them together..

You're right - two is a must, I've got the crossover '72 and Joy has a '67 bug that I bought for her birthday earlier this year (read all about it here: http://forum.earlybay.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=6067&p=59698#p59698)

We love having two old VW's, but we also have a modern car for those times when, well... you know

I had my bug way before we bought the van which is registered in my girlfriends name so technically she has two cars (the van plus her Audi) and I only have the bug.

I keep saying that to make it fair I should be allowed to buy a Ghia as well then we would have two vehicles each but so far that just doesn't wash. :mrgreen:
