Looks creamy - was thinking about a similar colour when we get ours painted although was looking at the Fiat pearl

I've seen bugs and buses painted pearl etc before, trouble is, when they get marked, chipped, scuffed etc, instead of looking just used they look downright shabby.

Look how off colour that bumper is!

Pearl is a PITA, and expensive. When I bought my cube I knew it was a pearl white, but I didn't know it was xirallic pearl. This meant I had to buy primer and laquer as normal, but the colour itsself was a plain white basecoat, and then the pearl topcoat was 75% clear 25% xirallic pearl tinters. The pearl topcoat alone at trade price excluding vat was £160 per litre! And the amount of coats applied affects the shade so achieving a colour match is a lot of faffing about doing spray out cards with various amounts of coats on and then compairing them to the original colour.

The worst bit is you can't really tell its a pearl until the sunlight really gets on it or it goes under fluro or those weird orange lamps you get at petrol stations.
