You can't. It's the posters account that's no longer working. The original poster needs to re post the photos using the 'attachments' below

You could pm the original poster for pics

I'm assuming that mods have edit privileges on any post, if thats the case then my chrome extension would allow a mod to update an entire thread. Useful if there are any particularly helpful how to's or similiar

The fact that PB changed their conditions without warning, and are effectively holding users' data to ransom, is appalling.

Rather than pay up, or get RSI clicking on each picture (their "download album" does not work :evil: ), I wrote a script to fetch the URLs of all the original pictures that I had uploaded to photobucket, with the titles and descriptions I had added at the time, and downloaded them all to my PC.

It took ages to run because that site is soooo slow, partly overloaded by rubbish adverts and partly, I suspect, by everyone else trying to get their original uploaded stuff back.

Not sure where I will upload them again. Maybe google. Maybe postimage (linked at the bottom). I'm not overly-keen on IMGUR because of the overwhelming amount of inappropriate, unavoidable crap posted there and visible on the sign-in page.

Is there a way to find all the images I have posted on EB so I can edit the links?

Its phpbb 3.2 so you could ask on the forum at phpbb.com but im not sure if its easily done

we dont host any images directly, all images are from users own external sources and photobucket accounts . can we harvest everyone elses images and host them ourselves? i briefly read the topic but i wasnt clear if we could do this? I may start to allow image uploads but its a security risk and we are also responsible for the content.

Just as an update to this I shared the extension with a few people and had one lot of feedback that it worked..I think there's a couple more who shared an interest who I will share with tonight. Once I have a couple more confirmations I will look at making it more widely available and see what I need to do to get it in the chrome store so it's easier to install and update

Ive used the scripts from phpbb mike12v to harvest as many images as i could, around 25K, there are still a number that will not display as they were set as thumbnails or are just missing.

Its a simple automated process that even I could follow!

I wanted to say a very big thank you to 67Westy as have used his Chrome Extension and have recovered my pictures and they are now added back into my thread. Is very straight forward to do.
