Truly awfull, I've been involved in a front ender in a Vw before & managed to escape with just a broken foot.
Sitting at the side of the road looking at your van truly truly shakes you up. I sincerely hope the injured man makes a full recovery, best wishes to him.

That picture of the van with front cut off is seriously distressing, fingers crossed his legs can be saved. I've often joked about being the crumple zone, this shows how true it actually is, barely a scratch on the 'modern' Renault van...

Without trying to take over the awfull accident in this thread here's what my van looked like after being hit in a none fault accident, yes it's RHD, as the other vehicle rapidly approached I hit my brake, vividly remembered looking down at my feet & swinging them as fast as possible to the gearstick side, the impact ripped my shoe off & broke my foot in several places. Upsetting to say if my feet stayed there I could very well be without a leg myself, I've never been as scared in my whole life and feel for the driver of this thread :( I'm just thankfull it wasn't on the passenger side where my girlfriend was sat

Makes me feel sick! Very sad indeed. Speedy recovery to all involved.
Imagine if it'd been slammed, already looks like the bumper was missed on a moderate lowering job  Makes you think.
