what are you guys running brake wise on converted k&l bays?

There are spindles which will accommodate late bay discs, I'm not sure how easy they are to find. (Fitted to Brazilian buses. )

i need to run porsche wheels then also? how do you convert the rear to porsche?

You can redrill your original hubs and drums or use adaptors. I run 944 non turbo also stops a treat. Some might say they are permantly on as the bus never goes out!!

Don't forget to cost in these parts x 2, that is over £750 + the cost of dropping them £200+

thinking about just using the split brakes instead of going for disks.

what beams do people recommend, want a 4" narrowed item seen creative ones and transporterhaus but people seem to have issues getting hold of stuff from there???

rear drums i narrow 5 so what the best way of being able to run wide 5 at the rear?

lastly sorry! brake servos, dont have one currently but would like one where is good or bad to be buying from and are the direct fit or will i need to fab some brackets for them?

sorry for all the questions but its sometimes easier then spending hours trailing through the forums

If you run cross over brake and want to retain the 5*112PCD pattern then you would want Brazilian K+L spindles and late discs and callipers, Cross over and late differ and the Brazilian are late.

If you want wide 5 drums, Porsche, Wilwood etc then you wan late spilt spindles 64>67.

Brazilian parts can be bought all new, the 64>67 split spindles need to be sourced second hand

If you go Porsche then you can have your drums slotted and hubs re-drilled.

Also, I'm guessing that with your reference to the £1k, you've seen a set advertised (mine?). It is all there to bolt on ;)
