My bus is a 69 so drums all round , Got a bit of a knocking sound coming from L H Rear of the van when accelarator is not being pressed its not as noticable and when coasting in gear its worse . If i depress clutch while coasting the noise disappears , Makes me think its driveshaft related , but I am no mechanic , any suggestions welcome Thanks alot ! 8)

Could be the clutch bearing?

I would have thought if it was a drive shaft the knock would be constant whilst the van was moving.
Hope its nothing serious dude :|

OMG that could be so many things .... Box, final drive, CVs, clutch... alll are affected under load conditions get a second on hand opinion fella and report back

So I'm guessing it's major then Araon :( Ill let you know what happens when i get a second opinion

Tbh, i would say if it was the box or diff it would judder, but when i rode in the panel i can only think i might be a CV joint.
Don't hold me to it though
