Hi all.

New windscreen and seal are leaking on right side above dash. Seems like the seal is not quite flush in the corners. Seal is from Wolfsberg West. Any advice/tips/recommendations welcome. Sealent has not been applied thus far. Any products I should look for if I end up needing to apply some sealent?

Thanks,

Chris.

Has your van ever had repair work to the front panel and/or the A posts?
Is it an original screen or a new one?
What is the condition of the lip the seal sits on?

Hi. Thanks for commenting. It has recently had the entire top part of the bulge at the front replaced and minimal fettling in of new metal on the A post where it meets the dash (a small hole no bigger than an inch in circumference). The lip is in good condition, although again had a few patch repairs from where it had rotted due to an old perished seal.

The screen is a new one.

As a bodyshop carried the work out do you think its worth saying to them that this is for them to put right? The work was completed about three weeks ago.

Chris.

The windcreens are pretty standard in size, but just to check it is the OG screen that was in there.

Those seals are good quality so if it isn't fitting i'd think it was down to the metal work too.
